We are looking for: Motivated, qualified and experienced professionals interested in working as a Planner at Byron Shire Council!  Due to legislative changes and current projects, a number of positions may arise for qualified and experienced professionals to work for Council in either Strategic Planning or Development Assessment.  (Some opportunities may also suit recent Graduates)

Your application will be used to match with any job opportunities that arise at Council within the next 6 months. Should Council wish to progress your application, you will be contacted and may be invited to attend an interview.  Council will notify you prior to contacting any of your nominated referees.

We offer:

  • Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $37 to $54/hour for qualified Planners (dependent upon skills and experience).

  • Other benefits include 9.5% superannuation, education and training support, flexible work hours and an attractive salary packaging scheme.

 

Location: This position is based in Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
